Lisa Boughner, PT, MSPT
Physical Therapist / Dept Lead
Lisa is the physical therapy department lead and has worked at The Continuum for almost 13 years during 2 different timespans, with 30 total years of PT experience. She grew up in Menlo Park, CA, obtained her bachelor’s degree from UC Davis, and received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Duke University. Lisa works with both pediatric and adult clients as well as early intervention, and she is certified as an Assistive Technology Practitioner (ATP), strength and conditioning specialist, and is NDT certified in pediatrics. Her favorite part of being a PT is making things better for others and helping improve their strength, function, and quality of life. She loves the diversity of things she gets to do as a PT which makes every day/every hour different. In her free time, Lisa enjoys hiking, skiing, crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her husband, 2 sons, and their pets (3 cats and 2 dogs).
Did you know?! Lisa summited Kilimanjaro on January 1, 2000 and brought in the new millennium on top of the world.
Lisa’s favorite thing about The Continuum is the diversity of things we get to do. She is able to work with babies as well as grandmas and grandpas. She also appreciates the team of wonderful therapists and employees who are all experts in what they do.
